Irregular plural nouns

أسماء جمع شاذة (غير قياسية)

Count nouns are nouns that can be counted and they have both singular and plural forms.

الأسماء المعدودة هي اسماء تُعد ولها صيغ الافراد والجمع.

one orange      six oranges

The plural of count nouns can be formed by adding -s, or -es to the singular form .

صيغ الجمع في السماء المعدودة تصاغ بإضافة  -s  أو -es للاسم المفرد.

Non-count noun cannot be counted and they don't have plural forms.

الأسماء الغير معدودة هي اسماء لاتُعد ولايوجد لها صيغ للجمع .

Use (many, several, a few ) before count nouns

استخدم مابين القوسين قبل الأسماء المعدودة

Use (much , a little, and little ) before non-count nouns.

استخدم مابين القوسين قبل السماء الغير معدودة.

Use a lot of  instead of much for affirmative statements. 

استخدم a lot of   بدل much  للجمل البيانية .

The class has a lot of students .

The class has much students (incorrect).

A lot of, lots of, plenty of, some, any, and no can be used before both plural count nouns and non-count nouns and we use any also but in the negative statements and questions.

الكلمات المضللة بالأزرق تستخدم قبل كلا الأسماء المعدودة وغير معدودة ونستخدم any و but في النفي والأسئلة .
